My love of travel began long before I ever boarded a plane.

As a child, I spent countless Sunday afternoons at my Nana's house reading the beloved This Is... travel books by Czech author and illustrator Miroslav Sasek. Through those pages, I wandered the streets of Paris, explored London, dreamed of Italy, and imagined adventures around the world. Those books sparked a lifelong curiosity about different cultures, history, food, and the experiences that make each destination unique.

Today, that same curiosity inspires the work I do through Joy First Travel.

I believe every traveler is different. Some dream of sailing Europe's rivers, while others long to stroll through a Tuscan village, explore ancient Greek ruins, enjoy a luxury ocean cruise, or immerse themselves in a destination through a custom independent itinerary. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to travel.
